Party Planners || Severus Snape.

halfblood-pawn:

He brought his face back to it’s normal blank expression, not wishing for any threats to be carried out against him. He strongly disagreed with needing to learn to have fun. Severus new how to have fun but any idea’s or people he found fun were not highly looked upon by anyone else in his house. This party was…well it was just another excuse to get drunk, break school rules and act like idiots. Though, would it really kill him? Possibly, knowing the crowd, but as long as he kept his mind about him things would be fine.

Severus was silent again, Nott lied horribly but that was no matter, it wasn’t as if Severus could call him on it anyways. Though, Severus was beginning to change his mind, just in the slightest. There was tones he’d love to forget. He’d love to forget the look Bella gave him when he didn’t instantly agree to join Voldemort, he wanted to forget every damn prank the ‘Marauders’ had ever pulled on him, he wanted to forget every painful moment that the Slytherin’s had caused him. “Fine, I’ll stop making this face. I’ll try to smile an enjoy myself, but if you set Chris anywhere near me you can bet I’ll frown once more and bring the entire mood of the party down.” Severus tried to keep his tone light, joking almost as his words were intended to be taken.

Theo laughed at Severus’ comment. “Alright, I’ll try to keep Chris away from you, but he’s known to have at least one drink with everyone at the party,” Theo said. “It would be foolish to turn that down, otherwise you might hurt his feelings and you know how Chris can get when you hurt his feelings.” It was a threat and the truth at the same time. Chris could get pissed at the smallest of things and really, Theo was just warning him. “Just have a drink and smile until you mean it. Someone told me that actually works, faking it until you can really do it. Just, do that, okay? Who knows, you might get lucky tonight.” Theo raised his eyebrows suggestively and smirked at the younger Slytherin. Severus wasn’t the most attractive looking male in Slytherin House, but there were some rather slutty girls in their House as well. Theo grinned at the possibility of Severus Snape having sex. He couldn’t see that happening, but who knows? If he could get one to drink enough…

elle-rowle:

Elle liked dancing much more than sitting around and socializing. Elle was great at talking with her body and she liked all the appreciative glances she got when she danced. She looked over at the dance “floor”, or the next best thing the Slytherin common room had. The floor was enchanted so it would radiantly change from one colour to another and fireflies flitted in between the dancing bodies, their lights all different colours.

Theo acquiesced to her request and they walked over to the floor, Elle started dancing, moving her hips in a carefree way. She noticed Theo looking at her for a few moments but he reassured her with a grin.

She heard Theo’s suggestion and wrapped her arms around his neck, looking up at him, “Well what are you waiting for?” she said sweetly.

Instead of replying, he placed his hands on her hips and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss quickly grew heated and Theo pulled her body even closer to his. After a while, when they broke apart for air, Theo grinned down at her. “I am a lucky man indeed,” he whispered in her ear. “So, my beloved fiancée, do you want to continue this somewhere more private, or would you rather stay at the party a bit longer?” Theo couldn’t wait to have Elle share his bed again, though he wouldn’t mind staying at the party a bit longer. It was his party, after all. Not that he thought his guests wouldn’t amuse themselves without him, but he was having fun as well. The party had only just started, really, so why leave already? If Elle said yes, though, he’d leave in a heartbeat and not look back. But, hey, who’d blame him?

Ever the charmer, Theodore. I’ll definitely be there next time.

You know me, Captain.

It’s good to hear that.

Party Planners || Severus Snape.

halfblood-pawn:

Severus would yield to Nott, it would seem he was stuck in this party and only because he knew better then to outwardly speak up or directly disobey. Severus hated it, hated then; all of them. They controlled his every mood, expected him to be one of them. From the very day he was damned to the House of Slytherin he had become a toy for the older pure bloods to use. They had shunned him at first, the awkward and quest child he was. Those days were spent with Lily and spent avoiding the mild pranks the Marauders pulled. but as the years went on he excelled in his classes and managed to be taken notice of. Damn it all and damn this stupid party. Yet through all this negative emotion Severus kept his usually blank face; clam and collect. He nodded, repositioning the bottles in his arms.

The threat was heated, despite how light Theodore’s tone was, Severus knew that he was serious about his not being allowed to leave the party, that only solidified by the threat of being babysat by Mulciber. “You wouldn’t do that too me.” Severus kept his tone, forcing a smile “I thought you wanted me to enjoy this night?” Severus looked back down to his feet letting the smile fall. He’d already told himself he stayed, but that was always an iffy thing, now it was for sure. Theo made it clear he was going to be watched, and Severus had no doubt he would be watch closely. “I’ll come, I’ll try my best to enjoy myself. I won’t leave.” Severus finally repeated like the good little pawn he was.

Theodore laughed at Severus’ expression. “Don’t be too sure, Snape. I might just do that, if only to see the look on your face,” Theo said, still grinning. “Don’t look at me like that, now everyone who looks at you will know I forced you.” Theo frowned. “You really need to learn how to have fun and just not give a shit about anything. It’ll be good for you, trust me.” He knew Severus wouldn’t trust him, but that didn’t matter. He felt the strong need to show him how much fun parties could be, and he couldn’t even remember why. Well, that didn’t matter either. He wasn’t a quitter and he’d show him.

“Believe it or not, I was once like you. Back when I was your age, I didn’t like parties either. I thought people only turned stupid and violent when they drank alcohol, but then someone convinced me to go to a party and I found that it was actually quite fun,” Theo lied smoothly. It didn’t exactly go like that — he hadn’t been fifteen or sixteen or however old Snape might be, he’d just turned fourteen, but a little white lie wouldn’t hurt. Not that lying about anything would really hurt him, but that was beside the point. “Alcohol makes you forget about all the shit you’ve been through. Don’t you want to forget, Snape? I’m sure there’s something you’ve done, or seen, that you’d rather not remember?”

“Yes, you are,” Theo replied with a grin. He watched as Elle walked over to the mirror to check her reflection, biting her lip. She looked a bit worried, as if she wasn’t sure they could pull this off. He walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her from behind. “We’ll be fine. We are Mr. and Mrs. Nott, after all.” He grinned. “Well, future-Mrs. Nott. Anyway, we’ll be fine. We’ll just have to look good together tonight and everything after that won’t really matter.” It would matter, though, but he couldn’t tell Elle that now. She was worried, he had to calm her, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to act well enough.

As she placed her hand on his arm, they made their way downstairs, towards the party. A lot of people were already there, and Theo immediately noticed Chris standing in the middle of them — he was whistling, as if he was impressed with them. Theo grinned at him and then looked around the room. “As of today, Eleanor Rowle and I are engaged. This means all of you,” he looked pointedly at all the males in the room, “will keep your hands off of her. Now, let’s get this party really started!” Someone turned up the music again, and Theo walked over to some people to socialise, Elle still on his arm.

Elle placed her hand on Theo’s arm as they made their way downstairs. People weren’t very surprised to see them together, after all it was just a party.

It was when Theo made the announcement that some people looked surprised.

Elle just tightened her grip around Theo, and smiled at people as they went off to socialize. Together of course.

Elle found that she wasn’t really in the mood to tell people about her engagement, she just wanted to get her mind off things. She excused herself from the group of people they were talking too, “just a minute” she said with a smile at Theo. She walked over to the table and downed some shots of firewhiskey and a mix of something else. Whatever it was, it wasn’t pleasant.

When she was done, she took the bun out of her hair, enjoying the familiar feel of her blonde mane on her back and she tore off her shoes, the damn things are so uncomfortable, and chucked them to some random corner of the room. She walked back over to Theo and pulled him out of the group of people.

“Let’s dance” she hungrily whispered in his ear, grinding her hips against his.

As Theo was busy socialising, Elle excused herself. He watched her down a few shots, and he saw other people follow her lead. Pretty soon a lot of the people were at least a bit tipsy, and the time for socialising was over. It was now time to dance, most people had decided. Theo was still talking to Narcissa and Lucius — both of them didn’t like partying as much as some Slytherins did — and he was glad when Elle came to get him. He wasn’t so happy about the not so very subtle way she did it, however. “I’ll have to excuse myself. It seems that my fiancée wants to dance,” he explained to Narcissa and Lucius with an apologetic shrug. Theo could party hard, of course, but he also knew how to make polite conversation and socialise. He was raised a Pureblood, after all.

He followed Elle onto the dance floor and amidst all the other moving bodies, she started dancing without a care in the world. For a few seconds, he watched her, mesmerised by the carefree way she moved. Then she opened her eyes to shoot him a questioning look and he shot her a grin. “You know, I haven’t even kissed my new fiancée yet,” he said in a suggestive tone, as he started moving his body with hers.

Hello there Hogwarts.

adrian-wh:

Mate, I wasn’t going to say that but I feel the same. I was trying to be encouraging, isn’t that what friends are suppose to do? I’m not that good at it. Well at least you two can work out some sort of arrangement. I wouldn’t be surprised. Elle is a great girl. Like I said before, better her than most of the girls at this school.

Yea, I know. I’m just really pissed at my father, so I’m not really seeing the bright side of all this. Well, except from the obvious of course.

I know she is. We’ll figure it out, somehow. I think our biggest problem would be staying faithful. You know how much the birds love me, mate. Can’t keep them away forever.

Oh. Next time you’ll be there, right? It wouldn’t be a party without our favourite Quidditch Captain there!

Hello there Hogwarts.

adrian-wh:

Oh I thought this was all to your own doing, mate. Now I don’t know if congratulations are really in order. How do you feel about it? I know Elle. Not a bad girl to be set up to married. It could of ended up much, much worse.

No, I wouldn’t want to be tied down at seventeen already. That’s way too young to be engaged. I guess I’m alright with it being Elle, though I’m not sure if she’s so happy about it. I think she’ll miss her freedom, a lot. You know what she’s like.

Hello there Hogwarts.

adrian-wh:

Engaged? Are you serious? You seem pretty happy about this so I’m assuming this is good news to hear. Congratulations! To who? I’ve been keeping to myself this past summer, I didn’t hear anything.

Yea, well, you know us Purebloods. We like to arrange marriages for our children and all. I guess it is. It’s Elle Rowle. You know her, right? We actually just found out ourselves. A bit confusing, but hey, don’t question your Pureblood-parents!
